Melisa Currey

Melisa joined The Community Foundation as its second employee. Since joining, Melisa has played an instrumental role in The Foundation’s growth, rising to Chief Financial Officer.

Before joining the foundation, Melisa traveled the U.S. as an auditor for Genesco and worked at HCA in the self-insurance department with investments. She graduated from David Lipscomb University.

An Alabama native, Melisa enjoys visiting her parents on the farm she grew up on and cheering on The University of Alabama. Roll Tide!
