Front Desk Coordinator
Ashley is the “voice” of the Community Foundation. Hers is often the first voice you hear when contacting the organization and the friendly face you first see when you walk through our doors. Ashley manages the flow of information and daily communication via phone, mail, fax, email, the staff calendar, and in person. She provides vital support by facilitating communication and services to ensure our work is efficient and effective, and manages point-of-contact for hospitality.
A Vanderbilt graduate with a Master’s in Education, Ashley previously did two terms with AmeriCorps, and before that worked at HCA for three Years. A desire to interact with more of the amazing area nonprofits is what drew Ashley to CFMT.
“I wanted the opportunity to meet different people from various nonprofits,” says Ashley. “With the AmeriCorps terms I had two host sites that were nonprofits, and then previous to that at HCA I did a lot of work with the Adult Literacy Council. So I wanted the opportunity to mingle with all the nonprofits that work with CFMT.”
In her time off, Ashley enjoys having the freedom to see where the day takes her (as long as that isn’t work) and living in the moment.
