Established in 2023

March 27, 2023, will be a day that we, as Nashvillians, will never forget. So many of us cried, prayed, and looked to find refuge in something. Many of us were speechless and in disbelief and had feelings of sadness, anger, and lots of other emotions as the day continued to unfold. More than anything, we were heartbroken for the hurt families and decided to be a part of something greater than ourselves and put that energy into helping the ones that were affected.

We are a group of Nashvillians compiled of families who consists of kids that either attended the school, are friends of the deceased, have children around the ages of the victims, or live in Nashville and wanted to contribute to the recovery of the individuals affected by this horrific event.

We felt moved to continue to help the families affected by the tragedy through the existing Caring for Covenant Fund and to add another mechanism to provide support for the first responders that moved so quickly to take control of the horrific event that took place. Our police officers stepped into the school not knowing if they would walk out alive. They were shot at, and still, they walked toward the gunshots and engaged the shooter quickly and with incredible bravery. Too often our police and first responders do not get the recognition and praise they deserve.

All proceeds to the Friends of Covenant and Our First Responders Fund will go towards the existing The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s Caring for Covenant Fund and those affected by this tragedy and to our First Responders.

Please join us today by donating now in support of Evelyn, Hallie, William, Cynthia, Katherine, and Mike who lost their lives, and our heroic First Responders.
