The Cheatham County Community Foundation helps support local nonprofits addressing unmet needs of the community, and is particularly interested in ideas that will enrich the quality of life for all citizens in Cheatham County.

Grants are awarded to nonprofits on an annual cycle. A local grant committee reviews all applications and makes recommendations to the grant allocations committee of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. Discretionary Funds or Donor-Advised Funds may be added to the recommendations from The Cheatham County Community Foundation to increase the grant awards.
